We have a full-time, permanent position available for individuals in our Drafting Apprenticeship Program for training as Structural Steel Detailers. No experience is necessary, but applicants must be high school graduates with extensive math background including algebra, geometry and algebra II (or equivalent).

Cives New England Div is located in Augusta, Maine and is the largest supplier of fabricated structural steel in New England. We provide steel for large commercial and industrial projects. We are recently have been working on a project at Fenway Park in Boston, MA and the North End Endzone project at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA.

Our Augusta office provides the engineering, detailing and fabrication necessary to complete these projects. As a structural detailer you will be trained to read and interpret engineer and architectural drawings and process shop detailed drawings for the manufacturing department. You will be taught to use Autodesk and other structural steel software programs.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
