We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document and Traceability Specialist to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing documentation, records, and traceability systems to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and quality management requirements. This role is critical to maintaining data integrity, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring full product and material traceability throughout the supply chain.
- Maintain and control quality and technical documentation, including certificates of compliance, mill test reports, inspection records, and manufacturing traceability documents.
- Develop and manage document control systems to ensure timely retrieval, review, and approval of documents.
- Ensure full traceability of materials, components, and assemblies from receipt through production, testing, and delivery.
- Support audits by providing accurate documentation and traceability records in accordance with ISO 9001 and industry standards.
- Collaborate with quality, engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure document consistency and compliance with contractual requirements.
- Monitor document revisions, maintain controlled copies, and distribute updated information to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and implement improvements in document control and traceability processes
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in document control, traceability, or quality management within the oil and gas, energy, or manufacturing industries.
- The ability to read and understand drawings, certificates of compliance, material test reports (MTRs) purchase orders and quality control plans.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and industry standards related to documentation and traceability.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite; experience with inventory systems is an asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
