Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Houston Mobile/SIS operations. Works directly with sales and the operations supervisors in scheduling and handling the daily workflow and is held accountable for meeting the revenue and profit goals set for the division. Additionally, this position is responsible for overseeing all activities related to inspection, maintenance, and deployment of drill pipe crews used in oil and gas drilling operations. This role ensures operational efficiency, adherence to safety and quality standards, cost control, and timely delivery of drill pipe products and services to support drilling operations. This position reports to the Drilling Services Manager

- Develop, recommend, implement, and monitor annual budgets to ensure profitable and strategic growth and return on investment.

- Responsible for setting main operations schedule for the division, advising customers and sales of availability and scheduling delivery of completed pipe to ensure proper workflow through the facility and setting job priorities according to customer needs.

- Responsible for resolving customer complaints, when possible, seeking assistance from the sales manager or the Regional Manager when unable to resolve the problem to customer satisfaction.

- Assists sales and customers in quotations for special orders to ensure all pertinent cost factors have been taken into account and the team can handle work within the schedule set.

- Monitors facility inspection equipment, scheduling any long-term maintenance needed, and interfacing with engineering on required updates to equipment to ensure that the facility is functioning at the highest possible capacity while producing the best quality inspection service available.

- Structure, staff, develop, evaluate, and motivate the organization to ensure the competency, capability, continuity, and productivity of human resources which are required for achievement of the operating objectives.

- Ensures compliance with Corporate and Division policy to minimize work related injuries and illnesses, employee lost time, and worker's compensation costs. Ensure team complies with all DOT regulations and requirements.

- Responsible for the adherence of company Finance and Human Resources policies.

Qualifications/Requirements

- 5-10 years of experience with tubular products

- 5 -10 years of management or supervisory experience

- College degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
