We are seeking a highly skilled Display Developer to design, develop, and maintain advanced user interfaces and embedded display systems for our next-generation hydrogen products. This role blends hands-on software development with user-experience design to deliver intuitive, visually compelling, and high-performance displays used in industrial and commercial environments.
- Architect, design, and implement interactive display software using C# as the primary language.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and hardware engineers to translate requirements into polished, user-friendly interfaces.
- Develop and optimize embedded display applications, including communication over RS485 or similar serial protocols.
- Integrate back-end logic with front-end graphical frameworks to ensure seamless functionality and responsive design.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance profiling to meet real-time and safety-critical requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
- Provide on-site support for deployments, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
- Must be able to travel as needed to customer sites and manufacturing facilities for installation, testing, and maintenance.
- TravelOvertime: Some travel and periodic overtime required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Strong C# development experience with a track record of building production-quality applications.
- Proven UI/UX design and implementation skills, with a focus on usability and visual design principles.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Ability to work on-site in Long Beach, CA and accommodate overtime or travel as needed.- C/C++ experience, especially in embedded or hardware-integrated environments.
- Familiarity with RS485 or other serial communication protocols.
- Experience with WPF, WinForms, or other C# UI frameworks for desktop and embedded devices.
- Knowledge of hardware display drivers, microcontrollers, or industrial control systems.
- Exposure to Agile development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
- Understanding of networking protocols and real-time data visualization.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and operations teams.
