Division: SDI Lafarga Copperworks Overview:

The Dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling and tracking outgoing truck deliveries. This position's schedule will be M-F, 9am-6pm, on-site at our New Haven, IN facility. Responsibilities:

•

Daily point of contact for sales and carriers

•

Schedule all outgoing deliveries

•

Anticipate potential problems, analyze data and trends, resolve problems, and recommend solutions

•

Generate and maintain reports using Excel and other systems

•

Maintain accuracy of all paperwork and reporting with confidentiality of sensitive information

•

Create and maintain relevant information in ERP and transportation system

•

Functional backup in logistics

•

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Required:* 3-5 years of office environment work experience

•

Strong attention to detail

•

Ability to make quick decisions in fast-paced, team-oriented work environment

•

Possess a self-starter quality for seeking input and details from resources

•

Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

•

Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events

•

Must have good communication and math skills

•

Working knowledge in Microsoft Office and Excel

Preferred:* Previous dispatching experience

•

Experience in using D365 and TMX
