Overview

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation activities, ensuring timely deliveries, and optimizing routes for efficiency. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to analyze data, and proficiency with various dispatching tools and systems.
Responsibilities
•
Coordinate and schedule transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
•
Utilize GPS and transportation management systems to optimize routes and monitor vehicle locations.
•
Manage dispatching operations using the software Net-suite for effective logistics planning.
•
Communicate with drivers via phone systems to provide instructions, updates, and support during their routes.
•
Analyze transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
•
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including data entry of delivery schedules and driver logs.
•
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any logistical challenges.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in dispatching or logistics management is preferred.
•
Familiarity with GPS technology and transportation management systems is essential.
•
Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions.
•
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with drivers and team members.
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
•
Basic understanding of logistics principles and practices is a plus.
