We are currently seeking a Dispatcher for our location in Hobbs, NM.

PURPOSE:

Incumbent is responsible for organizing the daily dispatch of equipment of the service location, working in compliance with all legal and safety requirements regarding the safe transport of equipment. Dispatchers should possess a background in transportation and industrial equipment and knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and Department of Transportation rules and regulations are preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations + Knowledge of GVW's, state regulations regarding height and weight maximums + Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

+ Previous dispatch and customer service experience in the equipment rental/construction industry and/or related field.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

+ Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs; infrequent lifting up to 75lbs + Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces + Exposure to inclement weather, bright lights, loud noise, dust, gas, and/or fumes
