The Dispatcher is responsible for maximizing truck-shovel production using the dispatch system and other computer systems.
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position according to the physical demands analysis
- Maintain safe work environment and practices
- Maintain professional communication with all departments
- Develop relationships conducive to superior performance
- Report Jigsaw, Two-way radio and AM/FM issues
- Monitor KPI targets and adjust to maximize efficiencies
- Operate computer applications to include but not limited to: Hexagon Mining System, Caterpillar Terrain System, Rajant BC|Commander, Putty, Command Prompt, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of pit plan and activities
- Responsible for truck/shovel management and managing Auxiliary equipment status
- Must be able to manage work time to fulfill requirements of position
- Work a 12.5 hour rotating shift, flexible with shifts, hours, and crew assignments
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Other tasks as directed
- Comply with Company drug and alcohol program
