Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for building high-performance procurement organizations? As Director of Procurement
at Centrus Energy, you’ll be the driving force behind our enterprise-wide sourcing, purchasing, and subcontracting operations. From shaping procurement policy to navigating complex federal acquisition regulations, you’ll lead a highly skilled team across multiple sites and ensure compliance, efficiency, and value in every transaction. This role offers high visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to impact both operational excellence and national energy goals.
You’ll direct procurement activities across all Centrus locations, develop and enforce procurement policies, and lead a team responsible for the negotiation, execution, and oversight of supply and subcontract agreements—including under government contracts. You’ll manage supplier compliance, government property reporting, and packaging and transportation operations. Working closely with senior leadership and legal counsel, you’ll shape procurement strategies, resolve contract issues, and ensure accurate execution within our Oracle Fusion ERP system. You’ll also support audits, proposals, SOX testing, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain function.
We’d Love To Hear From People With:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials Management, or related field
- 10+ years of procurement or related experience, including 5+ years in a management role- Deep knowledge of procurement systems and ERP platforms (Oracle Fusion preferred)
- Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Experience overseeing government subcontracting and reporting
- Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) certification
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and legal contracting terms
- Experience with government property accountability and SOX compliance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint
- Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrixed, multi-site environment
