We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services essential to our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and cost optimization strategies, with hands-on experience in SAP transactions related to purchasing.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Execute procurement strategies to acquire goods and services at the best value.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including RFQs, purchase orders, and contract negotiations.
- Maintain and update supplier records, evaluate vendor performance, and build strong supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure supply chain continuity.
- Utilize SAP to process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoice verifications.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
- Proficiency in SAP purchasing transactions (e.g., ME21N, ME51N, ME23N, MIGO, MIRO).
- Proficiency in MS Suite.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and contract management.

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in industrial procurement or purchasing roles.- Familiar with electric components.
- 1-3 years of experience at and electrical distributor (Graybar, Rexel etc.)

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
