NextEra is seeking a
Director of Data Strategy and AIto join the newly formed Transformation Office within the Business Management organization. Business Management owns the P&L for the world’s largest portfolio of renewable assets and is responsible for ensuring these assets meet financial commitments.

This leader will oversee a multidisciplinary team focused on modernizing how generation data is captured, governed, and leveraged across the enterprise. They will define and execute a data strategy that unifies telemetry and time-series data (e.g., SCADA, Historian), enables predictive analytics and AI, and delivers measurable value across Business Management, Power Marketing & Infrastructure, Power Generation Division and Finance in close collaboration with NextEra Analytics and IT.
This is a critical leadership role bridging data engineering, architecture, AI readiness, and business enablement, ensuring that data assets fuel better decision-making and operational excellence.

This position is responsible for multiple development teams in a matrix organization.
