Sprague is looking for a
Business Intelligence (BI) & Data Analystto join our team supporting the company-wide implementation of Data Management and Analytics. We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate with excellent communication skills who thrives on challenges and is excited about the idea of working in a high-growth, fast-paced organization in the energy sector. The Business Intelligence & Data Analyst will collaborate with business unit leaders and subject matter experts across the company. Additionally, they will present project results, analytical findings, and actionable insights to the management team to receive feedback and inform strategic decisions.
This position will be based out of Sprague’s Portsmouth, NH office. (Some level of hybrid work can be considered). Local, New England area candidates preferred.
Job Summary / General Purpose:
We’re seeking a motivated individual with a strong academic foundation in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or Data Science, and a multidisciplinary understanding of Business, Economics, Finance, and Statistics. The ideal candidate is passionate about solving real-world data challenges to improve reporting quality and business insights.
In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in business intelligence (BI), data visualization, modeling, and management. You’ll also support data automation, governance, and solution architecture in both on-premises and cloud environments. This position offers exposure to a wide range of analytics functions while working alongside energy industry experts and contributing to the success of Sprague’s Retail Energy team.
