To maintain overall authority and accountability for the Legislative and Government Relations department by developing and implementing coordinated and systematic informational programs designed to ensure that East Kentucky Power Cooperative's (EKPC's) employees and members are aware of and supportive of the programs, projects, and activities in which EKPC is involved. To develop and maintain quality relationships with opinion makers, community leaders, etc. to ensure government support is obtained. To develop and maintain good working relationships with governmental affairs associates of other utilities and industries. To serve as EKPC representative to regional and national associations.
