The Director II, Construction Support position directs the operations of two or more departments within the Construction Operations group, which provides construction and technical support to projects during the conceptual, design, and construction phases of a project. This position typically supports the functional aspects for assigned functions to the corporate construction group and any of the business units. This position typically serves as a Department Manager over a functional discipline(s).
•Participate in business development activities and promote a professional relationship with clients and company management
•Responsible for developing, implementing, and administering Departmental Construction Support policies and procedures
•Typically manage personnel and provide an environment for the development and professional advancement of staff members, including on-the-job and formal training and development opportunities, and timely performance feedback
•Analyze situations, identify and forecast pertinent problems and evaluate realistic options; and recommend/implement appropriate course of action
•Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
•Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twenty (20) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twenty-four (24) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
•Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
•Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
•Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
•Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements
•Must be able to provide proof of U.S.
citizenship
•Previous Fluor experience preferred
•Large industrial/nuclear project experience
Preferred Qualifications
•Ability to speak/read multiple languages
•Possess operational and personnel management skills
•Possess problem solving, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
•Extensive understanding of construction operations and support functions
•Ability to collaborate and adapt to changing conditions
•Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations
Salary Range
160,000 to 302,000
Market Rate
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
