Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Directional Drill Foreman to oversee operations on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of workers, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. The Foreman will utilize their expertise in heavy equipment operation, including directional drills, excavators, and hydrovacs, to facilitate smooth construction processes while maintaining safety protocols.
Responsibilities
•Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews on-site.
•Operate heavy equipment such as directional drills, excavators, and hydrovacs.
•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
•Manage horizontal drilling operations including locating and bore planning.
•Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
•Train new employees on equipment operation and safety practices.
•Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Requirements
•Proven experience in a supervisor or supervisory role within the construction industry.
•Proficiency in heavy equipment operation, including directional drills, excavators, hydrovacs, and locating systems.
•Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques
•Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
•Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
•Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites.
•Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
