Digital Solutions Developer/Analyst

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Power BI Developer / Business Analyst in our Tempe or Goodyear office who is passionate about using technology to improve public health and protect the environment. This role focuses on the design and delivery of practical, maintainable business intelligence solutions centered around Power BI for municipal water and wastewater utilities across the country.

You’ll work alongside engineers, planners, and scientists to translate user needs into intuitive data models and dashboards. We're looking for someone who combines foundational data engineering and semantic modeling skills with a strong grasp of front-end report design. Your ability to understand business processes, communicate with stakeholders, and deliver well-structured Power BI solutions is key.

Majority of your work will be focused on projects with clients in Arizona, interfacing with utility managers, engineers, operators, and IT departments. You will also participate in the corporate BI and digital services team to collaborate and share knowledge with other data scientists and developers at Hazen. Your interactions will be underpinned by a strong ethos of teamwork and collaboration among dynamic, supportive, high-performing colleagues.
