At LCRA, we are looking for a Desktop Support Technician to support our employees computer needs. As a part of LCRA’s Digital Services team, your expertise will help support an organization that strives to enhance the quality of life of the Texans we serve. At an intermediate level, you will provide second- and third-tier technical computer support, such as configuration, installation and fixing computer hardware and software. Provide support to IT users for all aspects of end-user computing and desktop-based software as well as back up support for audio/visual support, located in Austin LCRA service area. You will have the opportunity to participate in the testing and evaluation of new systems and applications and support mobile work force. You will be asked to document solutions to problems and develop end-user guidelines. This position requires knowledge and experience in understanding an enterprise environment but is still building higher-level knowledge and skills. You can expect to receive a moderate level of guidance and direction from supervisor, manager and/or more experienced colleagues.
