Design Engineer

```Job Summary```

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our team. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for tooling and product design for manufacturing critical forged components and ensuring that production targets are met by focusing on design for manufacture. Your role will involve coordinating with production floor supervision, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring timely implementation of new and existing product.

```Duties```

- Design and implement new product and production tooling

- Identify areas for continuous improvement and execute on those ideas

- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production throughput

- Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet company standards

- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the production process

- Maintain accurate records of production data and prepare reports as needed

```Skills```

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Blueprint reading/GD&T

- Manufacturing best practice knowledge

- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

- Proficiency in using computer design tools such as Creo, Solidworks, and/or Deform

- Ability to use hand tools for assembly tasks

- Prior forging or casting experience is highly recommended

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
