As a Demand Planning Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels to strike a balance between investments and fill rates in both B2B and retail environments. Your role involves analyzing the Demand Planning, Forecast, and Replenishment system. This includes reviewing forecast exceptions, providing forecast information for high-demand items, and addressing items lacking sufficient demand history, such as new or slow-moving parts. You will actively analyze and research unexpected demand to develop accurate forecasting for demand planning. Ensuring the correct parameters are in place is a key aspect of your responsibilities and ensuring that system recommendations align seamlessly with vendor ordering requirements.
A successful candidate must be able to:
•Review and oversee forecasts for high-volume and new parts, continuously monitoring inventory levels to achieve customer fill rate and inventory objectives.
•Conduct in-depth analyses of historical trends, comparable products, parts, and sales and marketing data to apply optimal forecasting methods, ensuring alignment with fill rate and inventory objectives.
•Proficiently manage inventory management solutions, including forecasting, stock levels, replenishment, and deployment.
•Proactively initiate and enhance demand planning processes, fill rates, inventory performance, and overall efficiency in supply chain costs.
•Analyze part master data, incorporating lead times, pricing, and supplier sourcing requirements into decision-making processes.
•Monitor, generate, and interpret data results to support parts availability and fill rate goals.
•Generate detailed analyses with organized conclusions for presentation purposes.
•Demonstrate comprehensive cross-functional knowledge in supply chain processes.

•Collaborate effectively with supplier business management, sales, and marketing teams to gather information on sales forecasts, market trends, and pricing strategies.
•Demonstrate a proven background in demand planning, including expertise in using and maintaining demand planning software.
•Showcase strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to question, accurately identify needs, and present effective solutions.
•Exhibit proficiency in translating numbers and data into reliable insights, aiding in informed decision-making.
•Possess the capability to collect data from internal and external sources, specifically focusing on factors that impact demand.
Qualifications:
•A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
•3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, demand forecasting, or related fields.
•Knowledge of demand planning/forecasting software is a strong advantage.
•Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
