Delivery Driver

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our growing team. This role involves transporting goods efficiently, safely, and on schedule. As the face of our company during deliveries, the ideal candidate must provide exceptional customer service while complying with all safety regulations and company policies.

Note: A CDL is not required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products on schedule.

- Load, secure, and unload items to ensure damage-free transport.

- Verify delivery information, including addresses and special instructions.

- Obtain signatures and maintain accurate records of deliveries.

- Provide courteous and professional service to all customers.

- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of vehicles; report issues promptly.

- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior.

- Tow trailers as needed for larger or specialized deliveries.

- Comply with all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company operating procedures.

- Assist in warehouse operations including inventory organization and order staging.

Qualifications

- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

- No CDL required.

- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

- Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.

- Physically capable of lifting or moving items up to 150 lbs. safely.

- Strong time management and organizational abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Familiarity with GPS and local delivery routes.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Ability to safely tow and maneuver a trailer is required.

Work Environment and Schedule

- Full-time position: 40-50 hours per week.

- May require modified shifts, including early mornings or late evenings, based on delivery demands.

- Work involves driving in varied weather and traffic conditions.
