Crafco, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver for the SE Ohio territory (Columbus and surrounding)
Enjoy driving and managing your own schedule? Seeking delivery drivers with experience towing machinery/equipment. Strong base salary + bonus potential, profit sharing and more. A company vehicle, cell phone and laptop will be provided for the Delivery Driver to manage their territory supporting customers across SE Ohio. Seeking a self-motivated individual who works well independently to provide deliveries and customer support (light troubleshooting/customer service) for our pavement preservation materials and the equipment to apply them. The Delivery Driver is responsible for visiting customers, providing customer support with our equipment, including company rental fleets and customer equipment across their designated territory and helping upsell or generate potential business for sales personnel. Consistently deliver a positive customer experience, anticipate customer needs, provide solutions, and execute high quality work a smile.

Specific Duties•Manage your daily and weekly schedule by creating and executing a territory plan. Prioritize deliveries, work orders, and service calls to effectively manage and support all customer needs for materials and equipment support.
•Drive flatbed trucks and/or towed units to deliver parts, equipment, and pallets of material to customers in your assigned region.
•Deliveries may involve transporting equipment from one location or customer, to another, and may require equipment operation demonstrations. At times, coordinating available equipment with co-workers in, and traveling to, surrounding territories may be required.
•Mechanical aptitude to perform light troubleshooting a plus.
•Conduct daily record keeping of driving logs, work orders, customer contacts, mechanical service, parts, equipment, and/or material orders.
•Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers across your territory with frequent in-person visits, emails, and/or phone calls to satisfy customer needs and provide outstanding support. Customer base includes government agencies (State DOT, cities, counties, and airports) and private contractors, consulting engineers/firms, and utility companies, schools, and more.
•Responsible for Crafco product knowledge including all pavement maintenance products (crack sealant, sealcoat, patching materials) and equipment, replacement parts and other related products for road and bridge maintenance and preservation.
•Physical capabilities to perform job duties including: sitting/standing for long periods, light loading/unloading, deliveries, and equipment demonstrations.
•Conduct overview training to educate customers and potential customers on safe and proper operation of equipment and appropriate material application.
•Suggest ideas, improvements, and innovations by input or comments from customers and personal experiences in the field.
•Complete and submit necessary documents and reports in a timely manner including but not limited to: Customer notes and updates in Salesforce, expense reports, call/activity reports, vehicle and driver DOT and compliance documentation, service/work orders, and other documents, as needed.
•Coordinate start-up and delivery training demonstrations of Crafco products, as needed.
Qualifications
•High school diploma or GED
•Minimum 5+ years related work experience; experience towing equipment/machinery desired
•Valid US Driver's License with acceptable driving history. Physically able to drive long hours both in and out of state, and may require odd or long work hours/days.
•Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve while working under pressure or with deadlines
•Ability to work independently, be self-directed and take initiative in prioritizing and executing work responsibilities
•Physical ability to perform job functions including but not limited to: standing, sitting, bending, squatting, or remaining in uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time, lifting/moving large, bulky and/or heavy items (50 lbs. or more) frequently, working in adverse conditions including hot/cold both indoors and outdoors and/or in inclement weather
•Must possess a high degree of safety-awareness
•Display and encourage a positive attitude, work well with others
•Desire to support customer's needs and provide outstanding service and deliver quality work
•Ability for local travel, as needed
