Box Truck Delivery Driver

Ideal driver must have clean driving record and able to pass drug screens. Must load and unload sheet metal jobs with help from suppliers and customers and other employees . (driver can not watch customers unload our truck). Experience driving box truck is required. This is a position for a experienced driver not for some one to learn in our vehicles. You will be the face of the company to a lot of people so we need someone to represent us well. We have plenty of work and when you are not driving you will be helping out in the shop to learn the products you will be delivering. You will be home nightly but may be required to work over sometimes depending on traffic.

Clean MVR will be required to operate a vehicle. We have had people apply who had a revoked license thinking we wont run a driving record. We do!

Any one operating a vehicle will be required to pass a drug screen to start and when involved in a accidents or when damage occurs

Drivers are required to wash and keep vehicle in a clean safe manner. This includes checking fluids. Service on them will be done by 3rd party.

Vehicles are equipped with gps devices and will soon be fitted with dash cams for liability reason.

The pay is listed as starting pay and not top out pay.

We wanted the the ad to sound harsh to weed out the lazy, job hoppers and the unreliable. As grown adults we aren't going to take excuses why you were parked for a hour or why every time you pull up on a job you need to use the restroom while the customer unloads. We do treat our employees well but cant let one person make the rest work harder and bring down the positive environment we have. All of our employees get along and we respect each and everyone of them. We are looking for a driver that fits that.
