Data Scientist

A key Optimus client is seeking a Data Scientist for our oil & gas client located in Houston, TX. This is a long-term contract role onsite 3 days a week in the office. Lead Specialty Software Engineer – ML/AI (PyTorch & Open-Source LLMs)

to process documents and detect duplicate or non-compliant processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design AI solutions that align with legal and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring:

- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related STEM field.

- Expertise in

PyTorch

, NLP, LLMs, and OCR.

- Proven experience extending open-source LLMs for enterprise applications.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
