Responsible for contributing to the development and deployment of modern machine learning, operational research, semantic analysis, and statistical methods for finding structure in large data sets. Develop analytics to address customer needs and opportunities. Work with software developers and software engineers to translate algorithms into commercially viable products and services. Work in technical teams in development, deployment, and application of applied analytics, predictive analytics, and prescriptive analytics. Perform exploratory and targeted data analyses using descriptive statistics and other methods. Work with data engineers on data quality assessment, data cleansing and data analytics. Generate reports, annotated code, and other projects artifacts to document, archive, and communicate your work and outcomes.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering (any), or Math). Six (6) years of experience in data science, engineering, or a combination thereof. Employer will accept a Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering (any), or Math) and four years of experience in data science, engineering or a combination thereof in lieu of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and six years of experience as described above. Employer will accept pre- or post- Master's degree experience. Experience must be post-Bachelor's degree.
Academic background, internship, or work experience to include: Four (4) years of experience in analytic software tools or languages to include: SAS, SPSS, R, or Python; Four (4) years of experience with data cleansing, data quality assessment, and using analytics for data assessment; Four (4) year of experience in the use of applied analytics, descriptive statistics, feature extraction and predictive analytics on industrial datasets; Four (4) years of experience with data visualization and storytelling for an audience of stakeholders; Four (4) years of experience with applied Advances Machine Language experience (LLM or deep learning) in image processing and Natural/Technical Language processing;
Two (2) years of experience in analytics product development; Two (2) years of leadership experience with project management leading cross-functional team. Any and all experience may be gained concurrently. 100% telecommuting is permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to offices in Bellevue, WA.
