Position Overview

We’re seeking a strategic, results-driven

Data Scientist

to lead the transformation of our data into powerful AI solutions that

directly impact customer operations

. This role blends technical excellence with business empathy—you’ll work closely with both internal teams and key clients to build predictive and prescriptive tools that solve real-world challenges in real-time.

What You’ll Do

- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand business problems and turn them into actionable data science solutions

- Build and deploy AI/ML models that support predictive maintenance, production optimization, and operational efficiency

- Design prescriptive analytics tools that help both Pro-Tek and our customers make smarter, faster decisions

- Integrate diverse data sources into scalable systems that create a 360° view of field and asset performance

- Develop intuitive dashboards and customer-facing tools that translate data into clear, usable insight

- Act as a trusted technical partner during customer engagements, proof-of-concepts, and solution rollouts

- Continuously stay ahead of trends in AI, energy tech, and customer analytics

What You Bring

- 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in energy, field services, or industrial tech

- Strong background in machine learning, advanced analytics, and real-time data systems

- Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Ability to translate technical concepts into business impact—for internal and customer stakeholders

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-first mindset

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Bonus If You Have

- Experience building customer-facing tools or dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Streamlit)

- Knowledge of operational technologies (SCADA, PLCs, IoT, etc.)

- Background in automation, oil & gas measurement, or industrial systems
