Data Quality Manager – Utility Operations with experience in QA/QC to support our GIS, Field Services, and client-facing teams. Candidates with prior hands-on experience or employment with utility mapping preferred. This role plays a critical part in supporting utility software systems used by internal staff and clients.
While the primary focus is on utility system support, this position will also contribute to day-to-day GIS production tasks, including mapping, data editing, and support for a variety of utility projects.

- Provide support for utility GIS/staking platforms.
- Assist with configuration, data conversion, data entry, and system troubleshooting.
- Help maintain alignment between staking data and GIS datasets.
- Support internal and client users with mapping, staking, and data-related issues.
- Assist with ongoing GIS production work including mapping, QA/QC, and spatial analysis.
- Support company-wide GIS tasks as needed.
- Maintain and update utility-related datasets such as electric, telecom, gas, and water systems.
- Lead the Damage Prevention GIS team to coordinate updates and ensure spatial accuracy.
- Assist in onboarding and training GIS and field staff on workflows.
- Help field and GIS staff troubleshoot common software or data issues.
- Contribute to internal documentation and improvement of processes involving utility software.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in GIS, Surveying, Engineering Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with GIS software and Utility mapping platforms.
- Familiarity with utility GIS platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and standard GIS workflows.
- Ability to support both technical GIS tasks and utility system needs.
- Effective communicator with experience supporting, managing internal teams and end users.
- Experience with data conversion or integration between GIS and utility systems.
- Understanding of electric, gas, fiber, and other utility environments.
- Familiarity with scripting tools (e.g., Python, SQL) for data processing or automation.
- A GIS professional with solid utility system experience.
