JOB SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this role will be to build and maintain data models for use in Data Analytics and Data Science. Partner with the business to define data needs to support the business objectives and collaborating with IT team members to achieve the business objectives.
40% of Job: Develop and maintain various data pipelines and models using both internal and external data sources including validation and champion strong data governance practices.
30% of Job: Meet with business to define requirements, objectives, and metrics. Collaborate with Data Team members to deliver on business data needs.
30% of Job: Champion Data Science by using and developing algorithms which help business users understand the benefit, in addition to deploying the outcomes through optimized processes, meaningful metrics and strong reporting.
Education Major: Technology, preferably in Computer Science, MIS or Analytics
Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience working with large, complex data systems to aggregate, organize, and prepare data for use in business analysis; minimum of 3 years experience using relevant software packages for statistical analyses and visualization (SQL, R, Spark, Python, Tableau/ Power BI or Equivalent Programming Language); minimum of 1 year experience working with Classification ML model.
