The Data Engineer is responsible for building systems to collect, manage, and convert structured and un-structured data into usable models for other Analytic and IT engineers to interpret and further visualize to advance our digitalization efforts throughout the company.

· Design, build, and maintain Azure data pipelines that connect with multiple data sources

· Develop and maintain ETL processes using Azure Data Factory

· Create and manage jobs in Azure Data Bricks

· Create and maintain optimal data pipeline(s) architecture on our Azure platform

· Collaborate with other teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions

· Work closely with co-workers in IT to ensure security, performance, and oversight on existing databases in SQL Server and Oracle

· Being up to date with the latest trends and best practices and sharing insights with our internal teams

· Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner

· Visiting our various facilities to collaborate with our internal customers

· Minimum of 2 or more years of experience in a computer science or data engineering related role

· Proficiency in Python scripting for data processing

· Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL or PL/SQL) as well as working familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle

· ETL experience

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data-related issues

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and completeness

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision but in collaboration with our teams

· Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, and Data Lakes

· Experience with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI

· Experience sourcing structured and unstructured data from databases, files, RESTful API's

· Manufacturing environment experience a plus

· Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
