About the Role:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry / Material Administrator to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting various departments by ensuring accurate data entry, inventory management, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
•Enter information into Excel spreadsheets and internal databases for various departments
•Track, monitor, and report discrepancies in data and inventory systems
•Maintain and update Warehouse Management Software
•Develop material reports and notifications in support of operational needs
•Prepare reports, memos, and correspondence
•Perform administrative duties such as scanning, photocopying, and document organization
•Collaborate with team members to support departmental goals
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in administration, logistics, or a related field is an asset
•1–3 years of experience in a data entry, administrative, or inventory control role
Skill Set:
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., working with formulas, sorting/filtering data, pivot tables is a plus)
•Familiarity with inventory systems or Warehouse Management Software (WMS) preferred
•Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy and speed
•Excellent organizational and time-management skills; able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
•Exceptional attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity
•Ability to identify and report discrepancies in data or materials
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
•Experience in document handling, scanning, and digital filing
•Professional, reliable, and punctual with a strong work ethic
•Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
•Team player with a proactive and punctual work ethic
•Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant is an asset
