This position will oversee, coordinate and schedule the day-to-day One Call and Damage Prevention activities with CNX and contractor personnel. The Damage Prevention Tech is responsible for the performance, monitoring, auditing and reporting of One Call and Damage Prevention activities to ensure compliance with federal and state pipeline compliance requirements and standards. Our Technician will develop, analyze, evaluate and recommend One Call, Damage Prevention activities and best practices to ensure a safe, compliant, reliable and economical One Call and Damage Prevention program. This position provides assistance as necessary for other Federal DOT-PHMSA and state compliance activities, audits and engineering studies.
Target Responsibilities:•Personally drive safety and quality performance through effective leadership to ensure safe work by all contractors, vendors and anyone on CNX property at all times.
•Oversee, coordinate, and schedule day-to-day One Call and Damage Prevention activities.
•Provides technical support and assessments to ensure the accuracy of pipeline maps, databases and operating records. Resolves problems encountered and recommends remedial actions.
•Assist in the development, evaluation, review and continuous improvement of pipeline mapping systems and database information for DOT compliance and reporting activities.
•Perform damage investigations, reports and root cause analysis to determine the cause of third-party damages to company facilities. Recommend actions to prevent future third-party damages.
•Ensure the accuracy and data storage of One Call, Damage Prevention activities and other compliance information for a DOT records repository.
•Assist in developing and maintaining company One Call and Damage Prevention standards, SOP’s, O&M manuals and "best practices".
•Prepare and evaluate proposals, bids, cost estimates and purchase requisitions for One Call and Damage Prevention activities in conjunction with supply chain standards and procedures. Assure all services and materials have assigned requisitions and purchase orders.
•Verify company and contractor personnel are properly hazard trained and DOT Operator Qualified (as necessary) to perform activities on regulated or non-regulated pipelines. Perform hazard training and conduct safety meetings as necessary.
•Train company personnel and contractors on company standards, SOP’s, O&M manuals and "best practices".
•Assist in establishing and maintaining compliance with other Federal DOT and state pipeline safety regulations.
•Conduct pre-audits and attend Federal DOT-PHMSA and state pipeline audits as assigned.
•Prepare and submit various Federal DOT-PHMSA and state compliance reports.
•Assists in the coordination of gas emergency response efforts of the company.
•Work on special projects as they relate to the gas compliance operations.
Minimum Requirements:
•Must have the ability to consistently drive safety, compliance and quality performance through leadership.
•Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to develop good working relationships with all levels of company and Federal DOT-PHMSA and state inspection personnel.

•Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to drive safely off-road in adverse conditions.
•May require travel and short-term assignment to other operating areas.
Preferred Requirements:
•Knowledge of Federal and state pipeline safety regulations and related codes and standards.
•Knowledge of natural gas industry pipe, fitting, valve and related material specifications and standards.
•Ability to interpret engineering schematics, drawings and technical manuals.
•Strong planning, organizing and project management skills.
•1-3 years of related compliance or gas operations experience.
•Working knowledge of applicable Federal and state pipeline safety regulations and related codes/standards (i.e.: DOT, NACE, API, ANSI and OSHA).
