Primary Function: The Pipeline Integrity Technician conducts field work to ensure the safety and integrity of natural gas service lines, directly impacting public and customer safety. This project will last from mid-June to mid-August and requires extensive travel around the state of Colorado. Per diem is provided for lodging.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Locate existing gas service lines using a locator
•Utilize LocusView equipment to GPS existing service lines and valves, and complete all necessary reporting
•Record and report data via mobile applications
•Maintain strong safety standards and adhere to company and client protocols
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Willingness and ability to learn and utilize new software programs and equipment
•Ability to manage time effectively and work independently

Education and Experience:
•High School Diploma or GED is required.
•At least one (1) year of experience in the natural gas industry preferred but not required.
Additional:
•Must have a reliable vehicle.
•Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record and maintain vehicle insurance as required.
•Must maintain minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100k/$300i/$50k with collision and comprehensive coverage of no more than $1k deductible.
Physical Demands:
•Extensive travel required.
•Duties are performed primarily in an outdoor setting with exposure to changing weather conditions.
•Must be able to perform moderate physical activity including somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.
•Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
•Ambulatory across uneven surfaces of a construction excavation work zone, climb in and out of ditches using a ladder, frequently bending at knees and waist.
•Must be able to perform work in a very loud, active construction environment.
•The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers and clients. Must be able to exchange accurate information.
