Job Summary

The Cybersecurity Analyst (OT) will be responsible for maintaining, tuning, and optimizing cybersecurity tools within the Operational Technology (OT) environment. This role focuses on supporting baselining, visibility, and SIEM solutions to enhance monitoring, detection, and response capabilities across industrial networks. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of ICS environments and a strong understanding of network segmentation principles.

Job Responsibilities

- Maintain, tune, and optimize OT cybersecurity tools, including baselining, visibility, and SIEM solutions.

- Collaborate with OT operations, engineering, and IT security teams to ensure accurate data collection and threat visibility across the OT environment.

- Develop and refine detection rules, dashboards, and correlation logic to improve incident detection.

- Assist in integrating OT telemetry sources into central SIEM or visibility platforms.

- Monitor OT network health and security posture using defined baselines and KPIs.

- Participate in root cause analysis and incident response activities for OT environments.

- Support vulnerability identification, patching coordination, and compliance reporting/auditing.

- Maintain documentation and SOPs for OT monitoring tools.

- Provide technical input for continuous improvement and architecture enhancement initiatives.

- Owns functional tasks on day-to-day compliance with the all the NERC Standard's Requirements assigned.

- Serves as contact for all assigned compliance activities. Coordinates the reviews and approvals as specified in Standard Requirements.

- Ensures required policies/procedures are followed and that any local dept-level procedures encompassing the NERC Compliance Standards Requirements are up to date.

- Provides materials for required reviews and approvals of all assigned compliance activities for submission.

- Works with SME Mgrs and Lead SME Contributor on functional day-to-day compliance activities to ensure all are effectively coordinated, sustained in the LOB.

- Provides updated and approved input to the Lead SME for the Reliability Standard Audit Worksheets, CIP Evidence Request Tool, O&P Evidence Tracking Sheet and for all assigned NERC Standard. Includes FERC, NERC, NPCC, LIPA, NY State, DHS.

Job Specific Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security or Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of relevant cyber security experience.

- In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of cyber experience.

- Working knowledge of network segmentation, firewall zoning, and the Purdue Model for industrial control systems.

- Understanding of asset inventory management and vulnerability management for OT systems.

- Experience with at least one of the following: OT visibility or baselining platforms (e.g., Dragos, Nozomi, Claroty, Industrial Defender), SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, Elastic etc.), or log management/telemetry platforms (e.g., Cribl,Snare).

- Strong knowledge of Active Directory fundamentals (Group Policy Management, User/Group Administration, Hardening Best Practices).

Desired:

- Experience with NERC CIP compliance
