Responsible for providing world class customer service to our customers and ensuring that our Automotive Aftermarket products are delivered according to customer specifications, needs and timing. Work in partnership with sales, production, and finance to manage the progress of orders throughout the organization. Responsible to review inventory levels and work with staff in Sweden to ensure consistent flow of product to our US facility. Daily phone and email contact with customers. Assist in determining new product needs and updating catalog information.
· Maintain a working knowledge of our customers and products.
· Daily order entry, customer communication, order processing and communication with warehouse lead.
· Handle customer inquiries and needs in a professional and timely manner.
· Communicate any customer needs to the sales and product development teams, ensuring that customer issues are quickly addressed.
· Provide product and other information, such as stock availability, product pricing, delivery expectations, etc. to customers.
· Daily maintenance of ERP system, generation of warehouse and shipping documents, customer invoices, and material purchase orders.
· Review and discuss with team: capacity issues, inventory shortages, scheduling problems, and other potential challenges affecting on-time deliveries.
· Forecasting and expediting products from Sweden to ensure adequate inventory is on hand in order to meet customer demand.
· Coordination of inbound and outboard shipments and freight carriers and resolution of freight claims.
· Maintain customer records, sales contracts, price files and other documentation.
· Help identify improvements and drive efficiencies in warehouse operations.
· Possible travel up to once or twice per year to assist with industry trade shows and conferences.
