Under the supervision of the Distribution Superintendent, the Inspection Clerk will assist the Administrative Assistant and other staff as assigned in the daily management and operations of the Sharyland WSC Inspection Department.
Essential Functions

- Responsible for incoming/outgoing customer service Inspection and Backflow Assembly related calls.
- Answer all customers’ questions and provide relevant information required.
- Schedule Customer Service Inspector Appointments.
- Ensure the organization, maintenance and filing of all the department records to meet TCEQ compliance.
- Responsible for Inspection and Backflow mailings
- Locking of non-compliant Inspection/Backflow accounts.
- Processing meter tampering for Inspection/Backflow department.
- Maintaining certified tester’s records.
- Assist Administrative Assistant with the Distribution Department when needed.
- Other duties as assigned by Distribution Superintendent.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
This job operates in a professional office and warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

- High School Diploma
- 3 years related experience and/or training.
- Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
