We have an opening for a Shop Technician - Inspection at our SE Technical Centre. The Shop Technician is accountable for cleaning and preparing performance drilling motor components, and drilling tools for inspection. This is a full time position that offers paid OT, and Family benefits after probationary period.

Responsibilities also include:

- Clean and prepare performance drilling motor components for inspection.

- Clean and prepare drilling tools for inspection.

- Assist Inspectors when required.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Be available for after hours, weekend and holiday work schedules when necessary.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, mechanical aptitude and be a detail oriented individual with solid organization and communication skills. Oil and gas industry experience is an asset.

Please note that the location of this position is outside of the Calgary Transit service area. The successful candidate must have reliable transportation.
