Customer Service Associate

We are working with Zeal Specialty Pharmacy to find a ROCKSTAR Patient Advocate (Customer Care Specialist) to join the team.

The Patient Advocate is responsible for handling the full spectrum of pharmacy operations, including order management, reimbursement, fulfillment, and customer service.

Responsibilities

- Process and verify incoming prescription orders accurately and efficiently.

- Coordinate with pharmacists to clarify prescription details and resolve any discrepancies.

- Handle some aspects of insurance verification and reimbursement processes.

- Oversee the fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate dispensing of medications.

- Coordinate with the pharmacy team to prioritize and process orders based on urgency and patient needs.

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

- Assist patients with some billing inquiries and payment processing.

- Participate in quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of service.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in pharmacy technology preferred.

- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably with a focus on operations and customer service.

- Strong knowledge of pharmacy procedures and insurance processes.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

- Proficient in pharmacy management software and other relevant computer applications.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
