Customer Service and Scheduling Coordinator

Location: Santa Teresa, NM (On-site)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Service & Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, handling incoming calls and messages, scheduling technician visits, and supporting both residential energy (including solar, EV chargers, and batteries) and HVAC service operations. The ideal candidate is a professional, detail-oriented individual who excels at clear communication in a busy office environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Communication

- Answer incoming calls and messages from customers through our phone system, Podium.

- Return calls, texts, and emails from Podium and cell phone inquiries.

- Create tickets to document customer issues and pass them on to the team for follow-up and dispatching.

- Resolve customer issues when possible before escalating to technicians.

Customer Engagement & Updates

- Make welcome calls to new customers.

- Provide updates on interconnection status and other service milestones.

- Maintain detailed and accurate notes in our systems to track customer progress and communication.

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and professionally with customers.

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

- Prior experience in customer service, scheduling, or administrative support.

- Proficiency with CRM or service management platforms (experience with Chat and Project Management platforms is a plus).

- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Because clear and professional communication is essential in this role, candidates must be able to conduct calls in a quiet, distraction-free environment. Attention to reducing background noise and ensuring customers can understand conversations is a critical part of delivering excellent service.
