Badger Mining is bringing in an process-driven Customer Operations Manager to lead and optimize our customer fulfillment, logistics, and supply chain activities.
In this role, your primary focus is ensuring smooth, accurate, and efficient operations. You will manage key functions such as shipping coordination, railcar placement, forecasting, inventory management, and cost control. You will work closely with transportation, logistics, production, sales, and accounting to keep orders moving, address issues quickly, and maintain strong service performance. Using technology such as, e-business tools, and data analysis to improve processes and drive continuous improvement. Your efforts will support revenue growth, operational reliability, and a consistently positive customer experience.
While operations come first, you will also provide steady leadership to the Customer Resource Team. You will support team members, encourage growth, and promote clear communication and collaboration. You will build positive relationships with customers, rail operators, transload partners, and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely solutions.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable leading both daily operations and ongoing improvements. Experience with tools like Six Sigma, Kaizen, or root-cause analysis is a plus. This is an opportunity to strengthen our operations and support a team committed to excellent service.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred or, experience in supply chain, logistics, or customer service with at least 2 - 3 years in a leadership role.
