We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Custom Cabinetry Sales & Design Specialist to join our custom cabinetry team. This role involves working closely with clients to design personalized cabinetry solutions, manage the sales process, and ensure seamless coordination between customers, production, and installation teams. The ideal candidate has a strong design background, strong knowledge of cabinet construction and installation methods, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping clients create beautiful and functional spaces.
Experience with cabinet design software (e.g., Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, Sketch-up, AutoCAD, etc) is a must, and the ability to learn Cabinet Vision is required. We are willing to train the right candidate in Cabinet Vision to ensure proficiency.
Key Responsabilities
Client Engagement & Sales:
•Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through project completion.
•Conduct in-home consultations and/or showroom meetings to understand client needs, preferences, and space requirements.
•Present design concepts, material options, and pricing to clients clearly and professionally.
•Prepare and deliver accurate project proposals and close sales effectively.
•Maintain strong follow-up with prospective clients.
Design & Project Development:
Develop detailed cabinetry designs using Cabinet Vision design software. (Will train)*
•Ensure designs meet client expectations, site measurements, and production standards.
•Produce detailed design documents and renderings for client approval.
•Revise and refine designs as needed based on client feedback and site conditions.
Project Coordination:
•Collaborate with production, finishing, and installation teams to ensure accurate project execution.
•Submit finalized design packages for fabrication with precise specifications and timelines.
•Coordinate with contractors, builders, and interior designers when needed.
•Conduct site visits to verify measurements and installation readiness.
Administrative & Reporting:
•Maintain accurate records of client interactions, estimates, contracts, and change orders.
•Update project timelines and communicate status updates with clients and internal teams.
•Meet or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to overall company targets.
•Participate in showroom upkeep, product training, and team meetings.
Qualifications
•Proven experience in custom cabinetry, kitchen & bath design, or related industry.
•Experience with high-end or fully custom cabinetry projects.
•Familiarity with woodworking, materials, and fabrication processes.
•Proficiency in design software (e.g., Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, Sketch-up, AutoCAD, etc).
•Strong sales skills with a customer-first attitude.
•Exceptional attention to detail and spatial awareness.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
•Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for site visits.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under deadlines
