Job Responsibilities
•Inspect cranes and maintain and repair industrial equipment such as pneumatic/ hydraulic parts and machinery to ensure they’re always in proper working order.
•Test and observe crane equipment and machinery using tools such as voltmeters and other testing devices to diagnose malfunctions and make repairs as needed.
•Care for crane machinery and equipment by cleaning them after use, adjusting parts, and lubricating moving components to ensure proper, efficient function.
•Examine moving parts daily, weekly, and monthly for signs of excessive wear, defects, and damage.
•Record all maintenance and repair services performed, and keep track of all materials and parts used during the repair process.
•Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g., leaks)
•Cut and weld metal pieces together to fabricate new parts, assemble equipment, or repair broken parts.
Job Skills & Qualifications
•Strong verbal communication skills, bilingual
•Able to repair crane equipment on heights.
•Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles
•Ability to lift to 30 pounds without assistance regularly
•Ability to handle various tools (e.g., pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g., lift)
•Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
Preferred:
•One or two years of experience as an industrial mechanic

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
