Job Description
What you’re responsible for:
•Safely operating a crane to lift, move, and position metal materials within the facility
•Lifting and transporting metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples, and safely placing them in designated areas or processing equipment
•Loading and unloading trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and load security
•Collaborating and communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel
•Conducting pre and post inspections of the crane, including overall crane maintenance
•Operating the following heavy equipment: Crane, Shear, Loader
Qualifications
To join our team:
•You hold a Crane Operator certification and/or equivalent experience
•You have a minimum of 1 year of experience operating a crane in a heavy industrial setting
•You have great attention to detail and the ability to accurately position and handle different types of metal materials
•You have a solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operation and material handling
•You are familiar with various crane attachments, such as magnets or grapples
