As a Cost Controller, you’ll play a critical role in the successful delivery of major engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) projects. Working closely with project managers, planners and clients, you’ll help ensure financial transparency, cost efficiency and control across all project phases.

- Develop and maintain cost control systems to monitor budget performance across engineering, procurement and construction workstreams
- Collaborate with project teams to establish and manage cost baselines, forecasts and change management processes
- Support project estimates, cost risk analysis, cash flow modelling and financial reporting
- Track actual vs. budgeted costs, identify variances and proactively recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with procurement and contract administration to track committed costs and invoice progress
- Produce periodic cost reports tailored to client and project needs, including earned value management when applicable
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of cost engineering and control practices at BBA

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance or a related field
- More than five years of relevant experience in cost control on EPCM or capital projects
- Solid knowledge of project control principles, project life cycles and industry best practices
- Proficiency in cost-control software and tools (e.g., Excel, Prism, EcoSys, SAP or similar)
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Bilingual (French/English)
- Asset: experience carrying out these functions on projects in the mining, energy or heavy industry sectors
- Asset: experience carrying out these functions on international projects
