ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a professional, results-driven individual to join our team as a Corporate Retail Area Supervisor. This role will provide overall supervision of Jeremy’s Restaurant and Circle K Esso Retail & Cardlock Fueling Station located in Nairn Centre, ON. Additionally, the role will also lead a team of managers across three other locations along the North Shore (Elliot Lake, Blind River, Little Current). The successful candidate will be responsible for driving performance, growing sales, and fostering a high-performance culture across the region.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Retail, this position is responsible for:

•

Oversee all aspects of daily store operations at Nairn Centre, including merchandising, staffing, customer service and loss prevention.

•

Lead and support Retail Site Managers in achieving fuel volume and sales targets across company-owned gas stations, convenience stores, and car wash operations.

•

Drive operational excellence by implementing sales strategies, resolving site-level issues, and promoting exceptional customer service.

•

Conduct regular site visits and safety inspections to ensure compliance, address concerns, and maintain brand standards.

•

Monitor area performance through monthly scorecards, OPEX reviews, REX reports, and inventory results—ensuring shrink is within corporate targets.

•

Ensure the execution of all marketing programs and in-store promotions across locations.

•

Support health & safety initiatives, including monthly meetings and follow-ups on outstanding items.

•

Facilitate team development by coaching managers, conducting annual performance reviews, and ensuring all required training is completed.

•

Recommend process improvements, capital upgrades, or new product offerings to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

ABOUT YOU:

The ideal candidate will have:

•

Five to ten years progressive retail management experience.

•

College diploma or degree in business or related field an asset.

•

Proven ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.

•

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to actively listen and engage effectively with others.

•

Adaptable to change and to ability to make tough decisions when required.

•

Strong leadership skills including ability to assess current and potential performance; mentor coach, develop, engage and retain top talent.

•

Strong numerical skills and computer proficiency, including working knowledge of MS Office
