Summary
Enerflex is a public company, dual listed on the Toronto and the New York Stock Exchanges. Enerflex is one of the largest providers of gas compression and processing equipment and associated services in the world. With divisions in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Eastern Hemisphere, and numerous branch offices across the world, Enerflex is well-positioned to support customers in a variety of markets. This role will be directly with Enerflex Energy Systems Inc. (EES), which is the United States operation. EES is the largest division in the global company and in a lot of ways is the engine for the organization. EES is made up of four business units that are experiencing strong growth.
The Corporate Counsel role is an integral part of the commercial and legal teams, providing support to and working with all parts of the business, including sales, contract compression, engineering, applications, risk management, and production teams, and other business management teams such as legal, procurement and accounting. The role requires strong communication, contracts management, and negotiation skills. The role requires extensive contract review, including drafting and the modification of customer terms and conditions. This role is responsible for tasks related to maintaining a smooth contract negotiation flow.
Most importantly, the corporate counsel must be able to work within and in furtherance of the organization’s core values of Integrity, Commitment, Creativity, and Success and deliver and cultivate a positive customer experience (whether it’s internal or external customers).
