- Drive improvement to all metrics that directly support the financial statement.
- Lead Wet/Dry manufacturing with lean manufacturing methods.
- Drive continuity of all data throughout manufacturing.
- Organize and lead kaizen events and identify improvement opportunities.
- Reduce variation in processes and improve quality.
- Manage and support all Cost Saving projects through implementation.
- Support timing and execution of Cap Ex projects implementation.
- Drive data driven culture through dashboards and management meetings.
- Drive lean transformation of work cells, departments, and buildings.
- Support budgeting and cost saving activities.
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Identify 8 waste in all processes directly impacting the balance sheet.
- Support creating a “plan for every part.”
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred. A minimum of 5 years in lean manufacturing. Previous in 5s and waste reduction tools.
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred for this role.
- Understanding of kanban systems and supply chain flow.
- VSM experience of current and future state.
- Ability to use effective communication methods.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to listen and comprehend instructions accurately.
- Strong Project Management skills.
- Value Stream Mapping and Process Mapping.
- Strong root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience and understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of big data, working in Power BI, and ability to digitize KPI’s.
- Business acumen with ability to translate results to balance sheet.
- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
