Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent in the earthworks and underground utilities installation industry to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, clients, and project managers.
Duties
•
Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel.
•
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
•
Utilize construction management software for project scheduling and tracking.
•
Review blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate execution of work.
•
Conduct quality control inspections throughout the construction process.
•
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
•
Manage project budgets and assist in financial forecasting.
•
Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
Experience
•
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the earthworks and/or utility installation industry.
•
Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and budgeting practices.
•
Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
•
Experience with quality control processes to maintain high standards on-site.
•
Knowledge of safety regulations, particularly OSHA guidelines.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
