Summary

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team. In this role, you will oversee excavation, foundation and superstructure of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position is vital to our mission of delivering exceptional construction services.

Responsibilities

•

Proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, & Outlook. Must be willing to learn and utilize software programs or other technology to optimize productivity and accuracy.

To succeed in this role, the candidate must be self-motivated and have the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

•

Strong organizational and time management skills, as well as strict attention to detail and accuracy, are critical.

•

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or other construction-related field is NOT required but is preferred; MA in Construction Management is a plus.

•

Interpret blueprints and schematics to guide project execution effectively.

•

Supervise construction crews and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship.

•

Utilize construction management software for project tracking and reporting.

•

Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

•

Assist in budgeting processes and manage project costs effectively.

Requirements

•

Manage in-house labor.

•

Prepare and negotiate all material and subcontractor packages and achieve cost savings at every opportunity while maintaining documented quality standards.

•

Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.

•

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.

•

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.

•

Experience with construction management software is required.

•

Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team leadership and collaboration.
