· Manages the full construction project lifecycle, from initial project planning phases through completion of construction of a variety of small to large capital projects involving distribution lines, substations, communication systems, battery systems, distributed energy resources, and more.
· Meets with customers, architects, engineers, and other design personnel to establish project plans, budgets, and schedules.
· Coordinates construction project resources and tracks project progress against established timelines and schedules.
· Ensures work is completed on time, within budget, and to specification, and ensures compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
· Acts as a liaison between the customer and project team members regarding changes or problems. Selects, negotiates with, and coordinates the work of vendors, contractors, or subcontractors.
· Responsible for material management and delivery scheduling tasks in support of assigned projects.
· Tracks project progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators and prepares and delivers reports to management.
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, or Construction Management with a minimum of 4 years' experience.
· Associate Degree in Technology (AE in Engineering Technology or other Science field) with a minimum of 7 years’ experience.
· Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as defined above.
· Substantial electrical overhead and underground construction background.
· Additional training in Basic Electricity is desired.
· Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Knowledgeable in electrical engineering principles, practices and methods, environmental regulations, engineering project management methods, workplace safety, budgeting, contractor supervision, and personnel management.
· Works well in a fast-paced environment and handles multiple projects.
· Competent in handling simultaneously occurring tasks and smaller projects.
· USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors Certification – highly preferred
