Roadway Construction Inspector

We’re a small, hands-on firm that’s growing and looking to add a Roadway Inspector to our team. Most of the work is for projects in the Panhandle area. If you want to be part of a close-knit team where your work actually matters, keep reading.
Who We're Looking For:
•Ideally, you’ve got have all or some of your FDOT CTQP certifications.
•But — if you don’t have all the certs yet, no problem. If you’ve got real-world construction inspection experience and are ready to take the necessary courses, we’ll support that.
•You're organized, reliable, and not afraid to speak up when something doesn’t look right.
•You’re good with paperwork as we take documentation seriously.
The Work:
•County-level roadway project inspections with occasional non-county work
•Field inspections, daily reports, coordination with contractors and local officials
•Help us maintain the high standards that get projects done right and on time
Ideal Candidate:
•You’ve worked on City, County or FDOT projects
•You have or are already certified in Earthwork, Concrete, MOT, Asphalt, and MOT
•You like solving problems, not just pointing them out
Required Education:
High school graduate or equivalent plus two (2) years' experience in roadway construction inspection and/or field utility coordination. Maintaining open lines of communication with your team, management and the construction personnel (Superintendents, Foreman, Project Managers, etc.). Reading and comprehension of construction plans, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure projects are completed in general compliance with contract documents.
The following is strongly encouraged: CTQP certifications, familiar with Excel, Word, and PDF/Bluebeam.
