Summary:
A Field Engineer is responsible for assisting from conception to completion of construction projects by organizing and controlling all elements of a project. A field engineer should have a firm grasp on construction and both time and management skills.
- As a Field Engineer you will support the Superintendents and project team by:
- Utilize the Superintendent manual to help grow your construction knowledge
- Updating a variety of safety and project logs, pictures, status reports and communications
- Complete detailed daily job logs as directed by Manager
- Complete daily safety checklist as directed by Manager
- Complete daily photos as directed by Manager
- Complete Toolbox talks weekly as directed by Manager
- Other duties as needed to support the project team
- Experience working with a general contractor either in a full-time role or through an internship
This position requires team collaboration and presence at in-person meetings and is best suited to a traditional work schedule. Occasional remote work is acceptable.
- Occasional travel (10-15%) to meetings and events, typically within a 150-mile radius of the office.
- Occasional travel to various job site locations as needed for photography or milestone events.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to see well (naturally or with correction).
